The Swauk-Teanaway Grange kicks off their fall event schedule Saturday, October 19 with an outstanding young band from the greater Seattle area, ?North Country Bluegrass.? North Country consists of young but experienced musicians ? Nick Dumas, Kent Powell, Norm Olsen, Will McSeveney and Stephen Burwell. Guitarist Zach Top of the band Topstring will be filling in for Norm Olsen at this concert. The evening begins with a potluck, doors open at 5:30 pm, food served at 6:00 pm and the band takes the stage at 7:00 pm. The hall is located at 1361 Ballard Hill Rd, about 8 miles NE of Cle Elum near the intersection of SR 970 and Teanaway Rd. Admission is $7 adults, kids are free, bring a potluck item to share.

Iron Horse Brewery hosts a weekly Trivia Night that is held at a variety of local bars and restaurants. The location rotates weekly. It costs $3 per person and can have teams of up to six. There are three rounds of questions and the questions get more challenging as the game progresses.
