A Farmer’s Market from the North Pole The 42nd Annual Ware Fair will once again fill the SURC from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2. Featuring over 30 vendors from all over the Pacific Northwest, patrons will be surrounded by everything from rustic wooden signs and upcycled furniture to soaps, candles, décor, and sweets. It’s almost like a farmer’s market from the North Pole! Maybe you need to pick up an all-natural lotion for Mom, or a sweet baked good for a neighbor; whatever the occasion, Ware Fair has it for you.

The Tree of Love event is coming up soon! Invitations are in the mail now to people who have lost a loved one recently. Many others will also receive an invitation to the event and an appeal to make a memory or honor gift for loved ones. Everyone we are remembering and honoring will be a part of the Tree of Love event.
Tree of Love will start with a meal and end with a tree lighting ceremony.

This year, everyone who attends or donates will receive a package of Forget-Me-Not seeds to plant in the spring and remember loved ones and enjoy the blooms.

An important part of any job search is to understand the employer’s point of view. In this workshop, you will learn how employers read applications and how to be better prepared to meet an employer’s expectations. The workshop explores how to organize and communicate your skills and abilities in a way that stands out from the crowd. You will leave the workshop with a master application that will be helpful when filling out paper and electronic applications, and start you on your way to developing a résumé.

Workshops start promptly; please arrive a few minutes early. Schedule is subject to change.
 
All workshops count as a job search activity for Unemployment Insurance requirements.
