01/13/2016 - MOLODI Live!

Fri, 2016-01-08 20:00
Extreme body percussion group MOLODI sets out to the answer the question: ?What is the best instrument available?? Some might say the piano or the viola, but for members of the this high-energy, rhythmic group, the answer is simple: ourselves. Using only their bodies as instruments, MOLODI mixes elements of beat boxing, collegiate stepping, tap, hip hop dance, gumboots and guerilla theatre into one amazing show. MOLODI was recently named the 2013 RAW Las Vegas Artist of the year and the members have a wide range of dance experience, having performed as part of STOMP, Step Afrika! and Cirque du Soleil. Members of the group have also worked on the hit movie ?Stomp the Yard,? helping to coordinate dance moves and help out with choreography. Based in Las Vegas, the group is known on the strip for their hyperactive shows filled with humor and style. See a one-of-a-kind body percussion show live at CWU this winter when MOLODI comes to stomp the yard.
