The Filharmonic, a Filipino American group of young musicians, has tunes-a-plenty ready for their performance in the CWU SURC Ballroom at 8 p.m. on May 6! You might?ve seen the nationally known a capella group on NBC?s musical competition, ?The Sing-Off?, or sharing the stage with the likes of Linkin Park, The Black Eyed Peas and Pentatonix on a national tour. If you missed all those somehow, you still might?ve seen them in a little movie called Pitch Perfect 2. The event is a part of CWU?s Family Weekend but is open to the public at a cost of $7 per general admission ticket and $3 per CWU Student available at www.cwu.edu/tickets. Make sure you don?t miss their performance and they?ll make sure you?re treated to a special blend of head-bopping beat boxes.
