Program Overview

The online courses are offered during each quarter (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). The program can be completed fully online or you may choose to also complete some of the summer session courses. Please see the Program Brochure and FAQs for additional information about the online program:

Admission Procedures

Note - Official transcripts are not needed for the LME program unless you are seeking to substitute hours.  For more information about substitutions, contact Leona Lindvig at lindvigl@cwu.edu.

Step 1: Complete the Reservation Form. This form provides us with more information about you; upon completion of the form you will receive an email from the Department Secretary containing additional information about the program.

Step 2: Complete both pages of the Endorsement-Only Program application. This application activates you as a student who is pursuing an endorsement to your teaching certificate. There is a $40 fee paid to the "CWU Certification Office" for the endorsement credit evaluation and a $40 fee added to the student's CWU account for applying to CWU as a non-marticulated student.

You may enroll into the 2-credit practicum once you have successfully completed two courses in the program. The practicum is typically completed over two academic quarters.
