All three graduate programs are offered fully online at affordable rates, and each prepares you for a specific professional certification. Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) is designed to prepare you for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, Graduate Management Accounting Certificate for Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification, and Graduate Professional Tax Practice Certificate for IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE). These professional credentials are in high demand in accounting, management, and taxation.

The Master of Professional Accountancy (MPA) program at CWU prepares you for a successful career in Accounting and the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam. The MPA program is delivered 100% online, through a combination of live (synchronous) classes and asynchronous online modules. Live class sessions are held via video conferencing platforms.

The Graduate Management Accounting Certificate is designed with 24 credits of course work modeled after the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) exam and prepares students for a career in managerial accounting.

The Graduate Professional Tax Practice Certificate is designed with 24 credits of course work aligned with the IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE), commonly known as the Enrolled Agent Exam. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Enrolled Agents are nationally certified, can practice in any state with the same credential, and have unlimited practice rights before the IRS.
