Graduate Accounting Programs

About our Graduate Accounting Programs

Interested in pursuing graduate-level studies in the field of accounting?  The CWU College of Business offers three graduate accounting programs tailored to fit your specific career goals.

Why Study Accounting at CWU

All three graduate programs are offered fully online at affordable rates, and each prepares you for a specific professional certification. Master of Professional Accounting (MPA) is designed to prepare you for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam, Graduate Management Accounting Certificate for Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification, and Graduate Professional Tax Practice Certificate for IRS Special Enrollment Examination (SEE). These professional credentials are in high demand in accounting, management, and taxation.

Student engaging with employment recruiters at a CWU job fair“The demand for accounting graduates has been booming. We have never seen such a tight labor market for accounting majors. Most students have multiple offers before they even graduate. Sometimes, students get an offer immediately after the interview.” — Han Donker, Accounting Department Chair
