  • Provide career counseling and advising
  • Assist in securing cooperative education and internships
  • Assist with locating career employment for graduates

Center for Student Empowerment – SURC 250 • 963-2127

  • Provide education and programming regarding gender issues (women, men, relationships, etc.)
  • Offer support and programs for nontraditional students and their families
  • Provide education and programming regarding violence prevention (i.e. domestic violence, sexual harassment and stalking)

Disability Services (DSS) – Bouillon 140 • 963-1202

  • Provide support services for students with disabilities
  • Educate the campus on full inclusion
  • Make referrals to outside agencies upon request

Student Health and Counseling Center – 11th and Poplar • 963-1881

  • Provide a full complement of medical services
  • Provide personal and relationship counseling
  • Conduct quarterly workshops for test anxiety, stress management, and self esteem

Testing and Assessment Services – Bouillon 125 • 963-1847

  • Administer placement tests for Math and English
  • Offer tests such as the GRE, LSAT, WEST-B, and others

University Math Center – Library 1st Floor • 963-1834

  • Provide drop-in lab hours for help in any Math related courses
  • Offer individual tutoring services for developmental Math courses

University Writing Center – Library 1st Floor • 963-1296

  • Provides tutoring assistance to CWU students who need help with composition
  • Help students develop as writers and collaborate with students to produce better papers
  • Writing consultants are available by appointment for individual needs

Wellness Center – SURC 139 • 963-3213

  • Provide services such as health education, alcohol/drug prevention, screening programs to promote wellness, and prevent sexual assault and sexually transmitted diseases.
  • Director of Wellness serves as the CWU Sexual Assault Response Coordinator
