Title:  Power Dead-Even Rule, The
Media:  Video
Author:    Heim, Dr. Pat
Promote the best possible communication between men and women in the workplace. As we move between male and female cultures, we sometimes have to change how we behave (we need to "speak" the language of the other gender) if we hope to make people understand what we want and need from them in any given situation. Unlike working with people from different cultures, people with different customs and ways of thinking, we often forget that men and women come from different cultures, even if they are raised in the same country. Learning the cultural differences which define what is right for men and women, together with a good sense of humor, is the first step leading to meaningful inter-gender communication.
