Students are a valuable addition to the CWU work force. Without them we would be faced with backlogs to our own workload, and frustrating delays when requesting services from other departments. This manual will help on-campus employers understand:

• How to locate, hire, and pay a Student Employee.
• Paperwork required once a student is hired.
• Deadlines for submitting paperwork.
• Employer supervising and monitoring responsibilities.

Supervisorswho wish to hire Work-Study students must participate in the Supervisor Work-Shop every two years. You may attend the scheduled presentations provided by Gayle Dohrman each fall and spring quarter and/or you may participate in the On-Line Supervisor Work Shop.
