Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Diversity Center do?

The Diversity Center exists for all students at CWU. We provide programming, events and services that support and relate to diversity, social change and global equity. We encourage a campus climate of tolerance, respect and appreciation for ALL opinions, ideologies and peoples.

Where is the Center located?

The Center is located in the Student Union Building. The Director and Programmers are located in Student Union 253. Stop by to check us out or visit our web site www.cwu.edu/~diversity.

How can I get involved in the Center?

ALL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME! Are you interested in promoting diversity, social change and global equity? We might be for YOU! Anyone can volunteer at the Center! Students can also create internships if they have a specific project they are interested in doing. We have numerous events throughout the quarter that anyone can come to, work at, or help set up. Additionally if a student were interested in putting a program together that relates to what we do in the Diversity Center, we'd assist them with making that program happen!
