From Seattle
Head east on Interstate 90 for about 103 miles.
Merge onto US-97 N via exit 106 toward Ellensburg/Wenatchee.
Exit 106 turns into University Way. Follow University Way for 2.1 miles.
Turn left onto D Street. Follow D street for two long blocks to the intersection
of D and Dean Nicholson Blvd/East 14th Ave (the second stop sign).
Turn right onto Dean Nicholson Blvd/East 14th Ave.
You may park in the parking lot across the street for CHCI for
free on weekends.
From Spokane
Take I-90 westbound towards Seattle. I-82 meets up with westbound
I-90. Take the very first exit 109 into Ellensburg. Take a right
off the off-ramp and follow Canyon Road which turns into Main
Street.
Follow Main Street to intersection of Main and University Way.
Turn right.
Turn left onto D Street. Follow D street for two long blocks
to the intersection of D and Dean Nicholson Blvd/East 14th Ave
(the second stop sign). Turn right onto Dean Nicholson Blvd/East
14th Ave.
From Wenatchee
Take US 97 southbound over Blewett Pass into Ellensburg. Take
a left onto University Way. Follow University Way for about 2 miles.
Turn left onto D Street. Follow D street for two long blocks to the intersection
of D and Dean Nicholson Blvd/East 14th Ave (the second stop sign). Turn right
onto Dean Nicholson Blvd/East 14th Ave.
You may park in the parking lot across the street for CHCI for
free on weekends.
From Yakima
Take I-82 northbound towards Ellensburg.
I-82 meets up with westbound I-90. Take the very first exit 109
into Ellensburg. Take a right off the off-ramp

Parking
CWU provides a campus
map that includes parking lots.
Parking for individual vehicles is available in the lot across
the street (Lot P-8) and on the opposite corner (O5) from CHCI.
Parking in these lots is limited during Central Washington University’s
school year. Individual car parking permits are $3.00 each.
Parking is not available in the back of our
building; vehicles parked behind the building will be
subject to towing/ticketing. We do not allow any student
drop offs behind the building.
