VP Issues:

Rich reported on the Cabinet meeting (retreat).
Rich asked Ona to get "pilot study" suggestions from the TABS group.
Grand opening for Kamola 10/18

Financial Services Issues:

ITS Issues:

Gene reported that the new diesel generator is going in at the Computer Center.

The halon system has been repaired.

Economic stimulus funding is spent. ($2.5 million) Bill expresses his appreciation to the accounting staff for their help in making this happen.

HR Issues:

Temporary Employment Changes - Ona indicated that we will maintain our current temporary rules through December 31, 2003. Ona will let people know what the changes will be.

Facilities Management:

Bill reported on the strike against the AGC. Walnut Mall capital construction project will proceed. The Governor should be signing the capital budget today. Music construction project is scheduled for occupancy September of 2004.
