Vice President Business Council
Minutes May 22, 2003 VP Issues:Rich indicated that the process for the voluntary retirement offer needs to be clarified. When an employee requests and is approved by his/her supervisor, the form needs to be forwarded up the chain to the VP. If the supervisor does not approve, the rationale needs to be written out and forwarded to the VP prior to issuance. Rich will be sending out more information. Rich reviewed the Cabinet meeting. Financial Services Issues:
Joe reported on the S&A committee meeting. ITS Issues:Gene also reported that there were no major problems with the first live payroll on the new system. The old system is now retired. Gene indicated that this is the last day the consultant from Cedar will be here. The consultant has done a great job of working with our staff and moving us forward on the system. HR Issues:Submit suggestions for future appreciation award ceremonies to Ona. Facilities Management:Bill reported that he met with the Culture Club (managers and sups) which is part of the focus group process. Greg Cant (faculty member) is working with this group. EIS:HR upgrade is on a tight timeframe. Monday, June 9 is the first live target date for the first phase of a prospect process. This process will record information from cards received in various ways and in turn will generate a list of prospects that will receive information from CWU. FMS upgrade is processing. |
