All current PERS 2 members will have the opportunity to choose between remaining in PERS 2 or transferring to the new PERS 3 retirement plan. The transfer window is from March 1 through August 31 of 2002. To help people make this important decision, there will be three different seminars that employees can attend during work hours. Each seminar will be offered multiple times over several months to ensure everyone has the opportunity to attend. The first of the three seminars will begin in med-December. Advertisements of exact time and location will be announced.
