VP Issues:
AVP Issues:
Energy Advisory Committee for the City of Ellensburg is
asking for CWU representation. Pat Stanton will serve.
Financial Services Issues:

State Auditor Visit is going on here at CWU through
October. They are maintaining an office in Black.

Budget Rental Contract – liability issue is being
reviewed and information will be distributed. Certain
franchise agencies do not automatically honor state
contract and therefore liability needs to be added.

ASSP Admin/Budget Control. – There needs to be
one contact point for contract and budget information
so that information does not get missed. Gene Rau will
take the lead and Cec will provide support.

External Training Costs – Query training just
completed was excellent (conducted by an outside
consulting firm). It is recommended that we look at
other consulting firms to provide other kinds of
training for FMS and SA. This will be reviewed.

FMS: Determine what Access users need. – This
will be discussed at a meeting on Friday.

Report Writing – Christie will provide training

AFRS FY 02 end of Sep – working on currently. OFM
has been very cooperative.

State Payroll Deduction for American Red Cross –
counterparts across the state are looking at this.
CTS Issues:
-
Dial 66 – is moving along

Telephone rate changes are being proposed for the next
calendar year. More information will be available
later.

Telephone operator – The console is broken and
needs to be repaired. This will be funded at the VP
level to bring the equipment up to speed.

CTS is requesting that Facilities test the backup
generator and battery periodically – include
telephone switch batteries in routine tests (Facilities
will maintain).

Wildcat Information Network (WIN) site is under
construction.
Facilities Management:
-
Yakima project is projected to be $2 million short. The
equipment/space are broken out by institution. The
building committee is involved. Bill Vertrees is
working with this.

There will be a Music Design Development presentation
today at 2:00.

There will be a sunset vigil tomorrow in Tomlinson
Stadium – there is a meeting today to discuss
exit lighting.
