VP Issues:

AVP Issues:

Energy Advisory Committee for the City of Ellensburg is asking for CWU representation. Pat Stanton will serve.

Financial Services Issues:

  1. State Auditor Visit is going on here at CWU through October. They are maintaining an office in Black.
  2. Budget Rental Contract – liability issue is being reviewed and information will be distributed. Certain franchise agencies do not automatically honor state contract and therefore liability needs to be added.
  3. ASSP Admin/Budget Control. – There needs to be one contact point for contract and budget information so that information does not get missed. Gene Rau will take the lead and Cec will provide support.
  4. External Training Costs – Query training just completed was excellent (conducted by an outside consulting firm). It is recommended that we look at other consulting firms to provide other kinds of training for FMS and SA. This will be reviewed.
  5. FMS: Determine what Access users need. – This will be discussed at a meeting on Friday.
  6. Report Writing – Christie will provide training
  7. AFRS FY 02 end of Sep – working on currently. OFM has been very cooperative.
  8. State Payroll Deduction for American Red Cross – counterparts across the state are looking at this.

CTS Issues:

  1. Dial 66 – is moving along
  2. Telephone rate changes are being proposed for the next calendar year. More information will be available later.
  3. Telephone operator – The console is broken and needs to be repaired. This will be funded at the VP level to bring the equipment up to speed.
  4. CTS is requesting that Facilities test the backup generator and battery periodically – include telephone switch batteries in routine tests (Facilities will maintain).
  5. Wildcat Information Network (WIN) site is under construction.

Facilities Management:

  1. Yakima project is projected to be $2 million short. The equipment/space are broken out by institution. The building committee is involved.  Bill Vertrees is working with this.
  2. There will be a Music Design Development presentation today at 2:00.
  3. There will be a sunset vigil tomorrow in Tomlinson Stadium – there is a meeting today to discuss exit lighting.
