VP Issues:

AVP Issues:

The Ergonomics Grant was not funded due to lack of funding from the legislature.

Chris Walter has been hired as Central’s Purchasing Manager. She is currently the Purchasing Manager at Yakima Valley Community College.

Financial Services Issues:

FMS Status –PeopleSoft consultant is here for two weeks to help resolve outstanding issues. We are getting ready to go through our first month end close using FMS.

We should hear from the bond consultant in approximately two weeks regarding our financial status for financing Kamola Hall and QUALF.

Heath Gilreath has accepted the position of Accountant Principal in Accounts Payable beginning August 1.

Kevin Conwell (currently at the Department of Natural Resources) has accepted the position of Accountant Principal/AFRS Accountant and will be joining our campus staff on August 16.

CTS Issues:

Facilities Management:

Bill indicated that there are devices that could minimize the amount of power used by vending machines. This will be looked into.

The Yakima bid opening is scheduled for Wednesday, August 1.

The Edmonds project is underway.
