VP Issues:

Nasser reviewed the last Cabinet meeting

Nasser reviewed the Governor’s proposed budget for the next biennium.

Nasser discussed a request by Dr. McIntyre that all vice presidents review and evaluate the functions performed in their areas. Information will be prepared for submission to the President.

AVP Issues:

We will need a meeting to discuss the Business Plan later in January – This will be on the agenda for the last meeting in January.

Central Washington University’s New Acceptance Book was distributed.

The Community Television Agreement with the City of Ellensburg has been executed.

The negotiated natural gas contract between Central Washington University and the City of Ellensburg is going before the City Council for their final approval.

Financial Services Issues:

Utility costs were discussed and Bill will forward information to Joe on gas costs as soon as the figures are available.

CTS Issues:

Norman discussed the Winter Quarter 2001 Computer Lab Locations and Hours. This information is on the web.

Norman distributed a DRAFT Proposal for Upgrading and Replacing Obsolete Computers in 32 computer labs.

ASSP Issues:

Facilities Management:

Bill Vertrees is preparing estimates for utility costs for Olympia.

Russ Elliott is working with Facilities Management on the Chart of Accounts for the Financials project – Facilities Management expressed their appreciation to Russ for a great job.
