Name:Christopher Mayer, David Lambo, Cassandra Lea  
News:Cassandra Lea, Christopher Mayer, and David Lambo received a Silver ADDY® Award in the 2008 Northwest ADDY® Awards Competition. They were awarded for their work titled "Imagination — Build Yours" a television commercial for Lego. The award they received was one of only 7 student awards and only 136 total awards given out, out of a pool of over 700 entrants.

News:Chris Mayer received two Gold Chinook Addy Awards at the 2008 ADDY Chinook Awards held in Yakima. The award was for his portfolio web site and a billboard campaign he did for Gatorade.
Name:Tyler Johnson  
News:Graphic Design student, Tyler Johnson is the brains behind this years summer session theme 'Rock Your Summer. 'The University Rockers' started in July '07 and pitched the notion to the Office of Contiuning Ed as a way to get students to pay attention to the program's benefits. The band's single "Rock Your Summer" will be aired on KCWU 88.1 The 'Burg! Way to go Tyler!

News:Stephanie Collins received a Gold Chinook Addy award at the 2008 ADDY Chinook Awards. She was awarded for her poster "Become a Professional" which was created for Career Services on behalf of the Publicity Center under the direction of Lola Gallagher.

News:Jules Walker received a Gold Chinook Addy Award at the 2008 ADDY Chinook Awards held in Yakima. The award was for her brochure "Wildcat Welcome Weekend" created on behalf of the Publicity Center under the direction of Lola Gallagher.

News:Dan Steel received a Silver Chinook Addy Award at the 2008 ADDY Chinook Awards in Yakima. He was awarded for his work "AIDS Prevention print campaign" created as a class project in Art 471, taught by Glen Bach.

News:Photography student, Sean Guffy has photos on exhibition at Wine Works in Ellensburg for the month of October. He has been showing his work at the local Starbucks and Cascade Land Conservancy, with more to come. Please make an opportunity to visit Wine Works and see the exhibition this month.

News:Photography student Laurel Ebenal won 1st prize of $10,000 for her digital photograph, "Faun" through VSA arts. The photo will be on display in the S. Dillon Ripley Center in Washington DC from mid-September through Mid-November in the "Driven" Exhibition co-sponsored by Volkeswagen of America, Inc. "Van Winkelmann Labs: Testing the Untestable for Thirty-Six Years" is a culmination of his work toward his degree in a master of fine arts. His work is inspired by Dada artists from the turn of the 20th century and old science fiction movies.
