Here's how it works:
Lending guidelines:
- You must be affiliated with a school district in the state of Washington to borrow software from the Special Eduction Technology Center
- SETC software is loaned to the school district on a laptop computer or CD-ROM for a limited period of time (usually 3 weeks)
- SETC software are available for preview or assessment purposes only. If your school district wishes to purchase software, a list of vendors is available. You may wish to call some vendors for a copy of their catalog
- While SETC laptop or CD-ROMs are in your possession, they are the responsibility of the school district. The items may be used by staff and families on or off the school property but if items become lost or damaged the school district is responsible for repair or replacement costs
