Objectives

  1. Start PowerPoint; open, modify, and view an existing presentation; describe the different ways to print a presentation.

  2. List the different views in PowerPoint; describe the unique features of each view.

  3. Use the outline to create and edit the text of a presentation; expand and collapse slides within an outline.

  4. Add a new slide to a presentation; explain how to change the layout of the objects on an existing slide.

  5. Use the Microsoft Media Gallery to add and/or change the clip art on a slide; use the Drawing toolbar to modify existing clip art.

  6. Apply a design template to a new presentation; change the template in an existing presentation.

  7. Add transition effects to the slides in a presentation; apply custom animation effects to the objects on a slide.

  8. Insert user comments into a presentation.

  9. Use Microsoft WordArt to insert a WordArt object into a presentation.
