2009-2010 CWU General Scholarship Application Guidelines
The scholarships listed below require that all students complete the CWU General Scholarship Application on or before February 1.
The scholarships identified with an asterisk (*) require additional materials. These additional materials might include letters of recommendation, essay questions, transcripts, and/or others.
The scholarships with no asterisk are based on financial need and do not require additional materials, but do require the completion of the FAFSA for 2009-2010. Students who have completed a FAFSA by the Financial Aid Office priority deadline of March 15 and who have need will be considered automatically for these scholarships.
The following are the steps to complete the General Scholarship Application for 2009-2010. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETE ALL THE STEPS.
STEP 1 - Review and print the description page(s) of the scholarship(s) you wish to apply for by selecting the appropriate link(s) below:
STEP 2 - Prepare your additional materials if applicable. Provide a full set of materials for each scholarship that requires additional materials, unless directed otherwise. Identify each set of materials with a) your full name, b) your student ID number, and c) the name of the scholarship(s) on the upper right-hand corner of each page of additional materials. Mail the additional materials on or before February 1, 2009 to:

STEP 3 - You are now ready to access and complete the 2009-2010 General Scholarship Application electronically by following the instructions below:
- Visit the CWU home page at http://www.cwu.edu/
- Select the Wildcat Connection
- Log in with your user name and password. New applicants will need to create an account. See detailed instructions on how to create an account. (Opens in Adobe Acrobat Reader)
- From the top left menu, select Safari
- Read the introduction page and click on the "read and accept..." link
- Follow the links: Self Service > Campus Finances > Scholarship Application
