Male and Female Intramural Athletes of 2007-2008

The Intramural Department would like to recognize Loren Hammersberg and Michelle Melero as the Male and Female Ahletes of the Year for both their excellent sportsmanship and athletic achievement.

Loren won a remarkable 5 Intramural championships and had 1 runner up finish in Dodgeball, Wiffleball, Softball, and Volleyball. Loren was also the captain of 5 different Intramural teams and made a guest appearance on the 88.1 The 'Burg sports show "The Den."

Michelle played on an incredible 9 different Intramural teams in 3 different sports: Badminton, Softball, and Volleyball. Michelle won 3 championships combined in Volleyball and Softball shirts. Michelle's teams also dominated with an average Sportsmanship rating of 3.9.

Congratulations to Loren and Michelle for the sportsmanship, commitment, and athletic achievement you demonstrated throughout the year!
