Welcome to my instructional homepage. The main purpose of this page is to provide useful links to current and prospective students, and to provide some information about my professional interests.

Before coming to CWU, I received my undergraduate degree from Washington University, St. Louis and my Masters and Doctoral degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno

About me:

Prior to pursuing my post baccalaureate degrees, I worked in a variety of wilderness based programs including Outward Bound, and the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS). My work included an emphasis on at risk and adjudicated youth. Subsequently, I have worked in a variety of school and mental health settings and capacities with children as young as five, couples, families, and individuals.

Courses Typically Taught at CWU:

I typically teach primarily in the counseling masters program, courses include the counseling practicum series (PSY593A/B/C), Introduction to Counseling (PSY560), Professional Seminar in School Counseling (PSY503), Assessing and Managing school Counseling Programs (PSY569), Counseling and Assessment of Children and Adolescents (PSY 567). My undergraduate classes are typically Human Development and the Learner (PSY 314) and Psychology of Adolescence (PSY447). You can see the CWU course catalog here
