Research Interests

I am currently working on a three year National Science Foundation Teacher Preparation Continuum grant to study preservice and inservice teachers views of science. Our team has developed a survey to ascertain views related to the nature of scientific knowledge and theories. We will also observe k-8 teachers to determine what views of science are portrayed in their classrooms.
