Do I qualify?

Each student must meet these requirements to be accepted into this Bridges program:

• belong to a group that is underrepresented in the biomedical sciences (including, but not limited to, African Americans, Latino/Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, and natives of the U.S. Pacific Islands)
• be a US citizen or permanent resident
• have a 2.5 GPA or better on high school or community college (if applicable) transcripts
• be a student enrolled at YVCC with at least one year of coursework remaining at YVCC.
• agree to participate in all program-sponsored activities including completion of post-graduation surveys
• express a strong interest in, and dedication to, the science of primatology, as determined by interviews with program coordinators.
