In your child’s physical education class we have just finished our soccer unit using the sport education model. The sport education model provided experiences that are more complete and authentic than typical physical education sports. In this unit students not only learned more completely how to play soccer, but also to coordinate and manage their sport experiences. They also learned individual responsibility and effective group membership skills.
