Boat Model Mainsail
This project will take some creativity on on the instructors part. In order for this to be successful the instructor will have to stress the students to use their imagination too.
Materials Needed to Build the Sail
1. Identify the pole which
will be your mask(main pole).
2. Once you have identified the
mask take the pole, which will be your boom and connect it so the boom
is perpendicular to the mask about four feet in the air.
3. Take the rope and tie it to
the top of the mask. With the other end of the rope tie it to the
end of the boom so the figure makes a triangle.
4. Take the sheet and connect it
to the rope, boom and mask so it looks like a mainsail.
