Description:
This unit is designed to teach students
the basic skills and knowledge for them to enjoy and to participate in
the new sport of paintball. This unit will discuss equipment, safety,
and various activities in the world of paintball.

Outcomes:
As a result of participation in this
class, students should be able to:
1. Understand the basic concepts
of the paintball sport.
2. Be able to properly load
a paintball weapon with ammunition and carbon dioxide cartridges.
3. Be able to identify parts,
and equipment associated with the paintball sport.
4. Be able to hit various
stationary and moving targets at a variety of distances.

Various Games and Full Blown Paintball Warfare = (Individual

This unit will be graded on a 1000
point scale, and the break down is as follows:
900 - 1000 points = A
800 - 900 points = B
700 - 800 points = C
600 - 700 points = D
000 - 600 points = F
1. Assessment of Knowledge
= 700 points
A. Quiz
1. One 15 question quiz based on lectures and video: 100 points
B. Shooting Skills Test
2. Show competency in shooting moving and stationary targets: 200
points
C. Weapon Perparation Test
3. Be able to demonsrate the proper way to load and reload a paintball
weapon: 100 points
D. Final Written Test
4. One 20 question test based on all material: 300 points
2. Participation = 200 points
A. Participation and Classroom Attendance
1. These points should be self-explanatory;
show up and get the points.
3. Personal Assessment = 100
points
