Dear Parent or Guardian of _________________________,

Congradulations!  Your child has earned the priviledge to participate in an outdoor camping trip, hosted by myself, Tony Ledenko.  During the trip, your child willl learn various camping, hiking, and survival skills needed to sustain life.  They will learn some first aid to help them in case of an emergency, how to build a shelter to protect them from the environment, learn how to cook food, and how find calculate the different directions that they are going or coming from.

The trip will consist of  an overnight trip out into the wilderness or a camp, where all classes will be taught. We will be sending out a permission slip for each student providing that we get this opportunity approved by the school district.  Each student will have to have this signed in order to go on this trip.  Here they will be able to put into practice everything that we had been practicing for.  They will get the chance to go out into the woods and build a shelter with a limited amount of items to work with.

I ______________________ give permission for my son/daughter to go on the campout.  I will not hold the school district,
school, or teacher responsible for any problems that may occur.
