Lesson Nineteen: Wake board Tricks

Lesson Activity:
Provide students with various types of tricks

THE TANTRUM:
A tantrum is basically the same as a back flip on a board. Take a wide progressive backside approach, as you approach the wake let go with your back hand and back off from your cut so your shoulders are square to the boat. When you hit the wake stand tall and throw you're head back. As the flip comes around, bring in the handle and spot you're landing. Keep your handle arm slightly bent.

WHIRLYBIRD:
The whirlybird is a tantrum with an overhead 360 rotation. Same approach, but when you come off the wake, aggressively throw your lead elbow across your face and away from the boat. Lead the rotation with your upper body.
