Practice Drills
In the gym parking lot, practice the items below and mark off your attempts accordingly.  Self-evaluate on this sheet, and a peer will evaluate these items on the Peer Evaluation sheet at a later date.

Fill in Your Score
Ride a various speeds without wasted side movements.
Brakes smoothly yet quickly without tires leaving ground.
Brakes with both rear and front brakes to avoid wear on one brake pad and to decrease stop time.
Ride a painted line for the marked distance (marked by cones).
Rider is able to look around while riding (wavering off the line 6 inches is acceptable).
Riders performs correct hand signals when traveling around the course.
Rider is able to follow at close distance with partner w/o wavering, crowding, or falling behind. (Rider's front tire must stay within 3 feet of leader's back tire)

Scoring Rubric:
4= Consistently performing skill
3= Performing the skill the majority of the time
2= Sporadically performing the skill
1= Attempting to perform skill
0= Not attempting to perform skill
