The professionals at the Washington State EAP provide confidential assistance
to all university employees and their family members. They help with personal
or work-related problems that may be impacting work performance.
The Family Resource Center (FRC) seeks to serve CWU, Ellensburg, and the Kittitas County by utilizing a family perspective to enrich and improve the quality of individual and family life. The FRC offers educational programming to support families throughout the lifespan, coordinates family-related research and civic engagement opportunities, and serves as a clearinghouse of information for resources of interest to families in the region. The FRC can assist students or other members of the community to identify services that can help to meet their family related needs, and advocates for the needs of families on campus.

areas. The map also includes a walking tour of some of the hidden gems
on campus that will be fun for both kids and parents to explore together.
CaringBridge offers free, personalized websites that support and connect
loved ones during critical illness, treatment and recovery. A nonprofit
web service that helps ease the burden of keeping family and friends informed
and where patients and caregivers can draw strength from messages of support.
In addition to oversight of licensed day cares, the Department of Early
Learning helps Washington's children get ready for school and life. They
focus on children's earliest years of life and offer information and resources
for parents and others who care for and teach young children.
A division of the Department of Health, Child and Adolescent Health strives
to assure healthy growth and development, improve access to and utilization
of health care services, promote healthy growth and development and develop
public and private partnerships to improve the health of children and
adolescents. Their website provides information on a variety of topics
focused on health concerns that affect children and youth, from birth
to 21 years of age.
