University Housing and New Student Programs: Application Process |
Application ProcessResidence Hall Application Upon acceptance to CWU, you will receive an Acceptance Book with all the details of the residence halls and the room and board contract. Please complete the room and board contract and submit it with the $200 deposit to Cashiers, 400 East University Way, Ellensburg, WA 98926-7491. Room assignments are made on a first come, first serve basis according to the deposit date. If you did not receive your Acceptance Book, please call Admissions toll free at 888-298-4968 (888-CWU-4YOU). Assignment letters are mailed August 10th . Remember, there is a live-in requirement for freshmen students. For details, please read the Residence Hall Live-in Requirements. Live-In RequirementsPROSPECTIVE STUDENTS Residence Halls - Live-In Requirement If you are single and a freshmen student enrolled in seven college credits or more, under the age of 20, and not planning to live locally with your parents or certain relatives, you must live in a CWU residence hall for one academic year regardless of the number of college credits you have earned. Running Start students, regardless of class standing, are also required to live on campus for one year. Students requesting an exception to the policies must apply for an exception through University Housing and New Student Programs.
