Thank you for your interest in the Discover Orientation and Enrollment program.

First-Year and Running Start students are strongly encouraged to attend winter quarter Discover! on December 1, 2008.

Transfer students are strongly encouraged to attend winter quarter Discover! on December 2, 2008. You are classified as a transfer student if you have graduated from high school and have 45 or more transferable college credits. If you are a transfer student and are unable to attend Discover!, refer to http://www.cwu.edu/~regi/schedules/RegiHandbook08-09.pdf to learn how to enroll for classes online.

If you have been accepted to Central you will receive more information about Discover! Orientation registration in the mail. If you do not receive information in the mail please call toll free at 877.880.3583 or email discover@cwu.edu

Please Note: The fees for attendance at Discover will be posted to your student account during the winter quarter 2009. Payment is not due and cannot be processed until after you receive the winter quarter invoice which is mailed to you by Student Financial Services in mid-December.

Discover Orientation Program Highlights:
  • Specifically designed to meet your unique needs as an incoming first-year or Running Start student
  • Understanding CWU academic requirements
  • Receiving guidelines and expectations for a CWU student
  • Learning about major courses of study and future career opportunities
  • Information about how to use the CWU SAFARI online registration and student account system
  • Individual assistance with enrollment in winter quarter classes
  • Exploring academic buildings, dining facilities, and the Student Union and Recreation Center
  • Meeting fellow students, faculty, advisors, and staff to begin an integral part of your university experience

New Student Programs also provides Discover! Orientation and Enrollment programs for students who are newly admitted to the fall or spring quarters.

Fall quarter orientation is held in July each year; Spring quarter orientation in March.
