has a library?
The Center for Student Empowerment shares a fantastic resource library with the Diversity Education Center. Together we've got a little bit of everything relating to gender issues, violence prevention, world issues and diversity. Books, movies, documentaries, and periodicals are available to borrow for the low cost of absolutely nothing!
Come to our office in Student Union Rm 250 where you can check out:
- Armistad Maupin's movie miniseries, "The Tales of the City," starring Laura Linney and Olympia Dukakis
- Simone de Beauvoir's groundbreaking, The Second Sex
- Angela McBride's, The Married Feminist
- Michael Chabon's beautiful, The Mysteries of Pittsburg
- Hollywood's Silent Closet, by Darwin Porter
There are many more to choose from too! Stop by today! Great for holiday reading!
