Central Washington University students, faculty and staff joined the nationwide movement that brings people to change.
A physical wall was constructed from hand painted bricks that described personal oppression and social injustices. The completed
wall served as a monument to inhumanities. Later on, participants pulled down the wall with ropes, which represented the toppling
of hate and injustice. Together the students, faculty and staff of CWU were the change on May 1, 2003.
By bringing down the wall I pledge to actively seek change in my perceptions, my life, my communities, my world.
I can and will be a change agent, working toward building a new foundation,
a foundation that accepts and celebrates ALL human beings. Change starts with me!
