The Primate Behavior & Ecology Major at Central Washington University is an interdisciplinary approach to non-human primates, captive and free-living, and of their relationships with the environment.

The Primate Behavior and Ecology program offers Primate 220 as an introduction to laboratory procedures for Central Washington University students. The 2-credit course requires that the student work four hours per week at the Chimpanzee and Human Communication Institute and attend a weekly safety meeting. PRIM 220 is a core requirement of the Primate and Ecology major.
