Balsamroot (Balsamorhiza careyana)

Plant-herbivore Interactions
Current research interests and projects include:
  • quantifying impacts of insect and mammalian herbivory on plants
  • investigating indirect effects among various herbivores mediated through a shared host plant
  • comparing whole-forest rates of herbivory around the world

Tropical Ecology
Population and community ecology of small mammals; plant-herbivore interactions in the Neotropics
